I call St. Louis Missouri home and let me tell you I have gone through some intense weather my whole life. It seems to be getting even worse recently, I am talking tornado's, snow, sleet, rain, hail, lightening, thunder, flooding, high winds, extreme cold, and extremely hot temps all in one year. Living in the Midwest you just learn to expect the unexpected. Temperatures are supposed to be below 40 in the winter at least, however our temperatures this year have gone from the 30’s to the 60’s within one day. Don’t get me wrong, 60 degrees in the winter is nice, just a little off. Nobody in Missouri should be used to getting a severe thunderstorm in the middle of January. I do believe the weather in Missouri has worsened over the last few years, including the temperatures being more sporadic.

The summer is rough and I have learned that having a working air conditioner is the most important thing. One of the ways I figured this out, is because my unit has broke down the last 3 years. Each and every time it broke down I was told that I need to start having yearly maintenance done so that this doesn’t happen each year. He said I should do this in the springtime. This year the appointment is already made with my St. Louis air conditioning company in order to make sure that my AC unit is working properly. No way I can go several days without an air conditioner again this summer.

I am happy that there is a well-respected St. Louis hvac company that is always on time, and good at what they do. They will go the extra mile to make sure you understand what the problem is and will give you tips on how to keep some things maintained yourself. These are good qualities that you don’t see in a lot of companies these days. I am ready to go for this summer, which gives me a good feeling that I will make it through the summer without any problems. Getting yearly maintenance is important to me, because I don’t want to put my family in danger. Things can go wrong bad, when you mix those high temperatures with small children and animals.

If I were you, because I already did, I would contact your St. Louis air conditioning company in early spring, so you can make sure your unit is doing ok. With Missouri weather we might need to start using our air conditioner tomorrow. I definitely believe this is good advice and I hope a lot of people listen and actually get their AC units checked out, before the rough summer starts.
